Elon Musk, Turning Bond Super Villian?

Pumping chemicals into the sea and Cornwall, England should probably never appear in the same sentence let alone in an article. The idea of pumping out these chemicals seems monstrous. However, it is my understanding that the waste output from water companies already has Magnesium Hydroxide in it[1]. So was the news about Magnesium Hydroxide just a throw-away checky remark from Musk gone too far?

England will not say no to Canada because they have the best Uranium for our nuclear power plants. 🙂 Why else would we risk destroying Cornwall a worldwide known holiday hot spot? Will it be just Magnesium Hydroxide or is it 10-20% something worse? Did they include the disposal of all the dead fish and oceanic wildlife in this deal?

(Just watch out because I think some rich people are trying to paint Elon Musk as a supervillain… to damage their reputation. Note, I don’t know him personally.)

Every Government’s Nightmare

The age-old idea that ageing is a problem when really it is a good solution to population overgrowth. The ageing problem is probably for the rich though. Watch ‘Interview with a Vampire‘ and think about how depressing it would be to live for hundreds of years. Hopefully not as a vampire though. Also, ‘Jupiter Ascending‘ is another good reference.

Research and Slowing Aging Process

See also, Seven Ages of Man. This is a historic understanding of ageing as such, there is a focus on men but women go through ages too. Men and women are determined via chromosomes.

Cheaper to drive than use trains…

I was looking at the current ticket price between two cities for cost to commute. It is still cheaper to drive the distance and back than to use the train service.

Trains are a waste of money. It is a false economy to expect drivers to use public transport when a train taking many more people, often with no seating, should pay more than a car driver driving a car. So a car might cost £250 a month in commuting costs but the train is £450 per month. You also have less flexibility using trains and don’t always get a seat, plus they are late sometimes. You’re paying so much more for so much less. That extra charge should be classed as fraud. Those that have to use a train are effectively hostages to the train operators. The ticket price should be half what it is now. To encourage people to use trains not cars you should be paying less and you are sharing with a number of others as well so that should put the price down not up.

What a mess are transport is.

I used to be in group 3. Then moved to group 9 by terrorists. It is 8 days until the anniversary of Katie’s death.

Volunteers???

According to AstraZeneca, there was a vaccine trial for volunteers around the same time I had mine? When I got there I had not been told what I was going to be given. I had not agreed to a trial either.

[See https://www.ox.ac.uk/news/2020-05-22-oxford-covid-19-vaccine-begin-phase-iiiii-human-trials]

I don’t want to volunteer for a third unknown injection and I don’t want more saline without professional consolutation on the short and long term effects and if there is something I should do before having it. I.e. Have an abnormally low salt intake for a few days or something. Like just drink water for 48 hours or something.

I’m Not Ignoring You Bank of England

I have seen the inflation excuses on the Bank of England website. I’m not ignoring the comments about the economy. Though, you’ve left out ‘Too many people.’ in your reasons for an increase in normally expected rates of inflation.

There must be a ceiling on total population, by the way. Are we there now?

Good luck with the interest rate raises. Wait until April after the tax year. Don’t start in January or February because families with children do a Christmas catch-up and others suffer heating bills. At least people will be on the street in the summertime.

When I had my mortgage at a time I had a house years ago I started on high interest and clipped the start of the low-interest rates and the difference in rates took a mortgage of about £700 and made it £250 per month (a difference of £450). That was great! Going the other way would be hellish. A good reason not to own a house with a mortgage <straight face>. (Although I don’t currently have a house at all.)

The benefit of interest rate increases is savings accounts. Who can afford savings? Only super evil people having more money than they need to survive. That is a mantra from Devon.
